All right, I’m humble enough to admit when I’ve been wrong.
The forecasters were spinning their usual hype about the big storm and I adopted a rather skeptical stance. So many times this is just a not so transparent ploy to get people out to the groceteria to denude the shelves of bottled water, milk, bread etc.
This time I predicted that we’d get maybe 3 inches, 5 at the most…
Well, I think we’ve gotten a total of at least 10 inches as of this writing. Certainly it’s not the mega-storm of the century, but it’s noticeable.
